On our very first attempt, we were certified as a Great Place To Work. A whole 77% say it is a great place to work.
Our highest scores surrounded what we do for our communities, how we treat one another and being very inclusive to those of other races, sex, and sexual orientation.
As our rep stated, “I’ve never seen such an inclusive environment in the senior care category.”
I worked in a nursing home for 9 years, I worked in the hospital for 1 year and I have currently been with Senior Care Partners PACE for 4 years and counting. I have learned so many things throughout the past 14 years, but there is one thing I did not learn until finding Senior Care Partners PACE, and that is… your work family is very important and when you get a group of employees that feel this way about each other, then they will care about their participants the same way.
We all operate as one big family here and our participants are included. Within a big family (PACE participants and staff) that is continuing to grow… we focus on quality vs. quantity. Who wouldn’t want a quality life with those you love at work and at home?
I enjoy working for Senior Care Partners PACE because everyone works as a team and it feels like you are a part of a wonderful and caring family. I also enjoy working for Senior Care Partners PACE because we touch so many seniors’ lives and help them to remain in their own homes and enable them to remain a part of their community.
I love that people put up with my sense of humor or at least tolerate it. I love the care and compassion that my coworkers have for the participants they care for. I have been blessed finding a place like Senior Care Partners, my regret is that they did not exist in 2004 when I left my manufacturing job and got into health care. I find it ironic that I spent 25 yrs. working in a factory and struggled to remember the names of people I worked with.
The coworkers I work with and the participants I care for will forever be ingrained in my memory. That is the difference between working a job and forming friendships and relationships. I can still remember the patients I cared for back in 1976 when I worked for a nursing home my senior year of High school.
I began my career at Senior Care Partners PACE in September 2008, long before we opened our doors, and will be retiring June 2019. Knowing that I wanted to work with the frail elderly, but having no experience, I was blessed to find this organization. I started out as a Receptionist, then I transitioned to a Transportation Coordinator, and retiring as a Clinic Scheduler. They do a great job promoting from within the company.
The best thing about working at Senior Care Partners PACE is being given the privilege to serve the frail elderly. This heartfelt passion is shared by all – from the CEO to the newest employee coming in the door.
I have a passion for working in healthcare. Throughout my career, I have focused on the wellness of seniors. Prior to my employment with Senior Care Partners PACE, my work was predominately in nursing homes. Working at Senior Care Partners PACE offers the opportunity to be a member of an extraordinary team dedicated to helping seniors achieve their greatest possible degree of wellness and independence. I find this work to be fulfilling. I love my work and those we serve.
